SLICING
After squaring and boiling the logs in steel tanks, the slicing process is carried out and can be of various types.
Thin sheets of veneer are obtained by cutting the log horizontally. Veneers with a different structure are obtained depending on the type of cut.
#slicing flat cut to obtain CROWN veneers;
#slicing rift cut to obtain QUARTER veneers;
#slicing true quarter to obtain SEMI-CROWN and PART QUARTER veneers ;
#slicing rotary cut in which the log is rotated on its own axis giving rise to sliced burl, pomelè, bird's eye maple etc.
SMOKING
Our smoking is developed with highly technological systems suitable for the smoking treatment of wood even in large thicknesses.
The essences indicated for this treatment are those with a high tannin content: oak, eucalyptus, acacia, larch etc.
The characteristic shades of each essence give a touch of originality and exclusivity that cannot be imitated with any type of painting.
DYEING
Thanks to the dyeing process we can obtain any wood in any color.
The color penetrates the entire thickness of the sheet ensuring a uniform result.
Any combination you can imagine is possible. We study with you every specific need to implement it.
JOINT
Thanks to this process, wood veneers and burls in various lengths and widths can be joined to form designs with the most varied geometries.
Our highly specialized staff carries out any project for you, guaranteeing you a 100% handmade and personalized product.
SPECIAL PROCESSING
Support : the wood veneer or burl, previously cutted , is glued to a "non-woven fabric", to increase its flexibility and resistance. It is used for panels, doors, edges.
Sanding : prepares the surface for any subsequent processing phase (e.g. painting) and brings the veneer to the desired thickness.
Plating : to produce furniture or furnishings we supply plated panels (semi-finished wood products consisting of a raw support panel plated with natural, dyed or reconwood veneer). It is possible to produce different panels according to their use.
